What this means is that the more obstacles you have in the way to thwart off a thief the better. It can begin with having excellent outdoor security measures in place. Then making sure you have good security on your windows and doors, is another layer of security. Then the big one of course is your total security system. With enough security measures installed a thief is more than likely going to get frustrated and be prepared to move onto a less secure home.
