Generally Hold-up alarms buttons are very reliable as the activation technique usually involves pressing 2 buttons at the same time to prevent false activations. Hold-up alarms are usually given the highest priority through a secure connection via 911 dispatch of the emergency. It is important that all Hold-up alarm buttons are explained and understood by all people working in a business to minimize the possibility of a false activation as Police take such alarm very serious and should never be pushed as a test and should only be professionally installed and regular maintenance and system operation is very important.
